We started LUMÉ because we believed fashion could be both beautiful and responsible. Here's how it all began.
LUMÉ started in a small studio in Hyderabad with one sewing machine, two founders, and a dream to make clean, conscious clothing that didn't cost the earth — literally.
We were tired of fast fashion. Tired of clothes that fell apart after three washes. Tired of buying things that felt good for a moment and terrible forever after.
"We wanted to make clothes you'd still be wearing five years from now."
Today, every piece in our collection is made in-house by skilled artisans using natural, low-impact fabrics. Slow fashion, made to last.

NATURAL FABRICS
Every decision we make is guided by these principles
We use only natural, certified fabrics — linen, organic cotton, and recycled fibres. Our packaging is 100% plastic-free.
Every artisan in our workshop earns well above minimum wage. We believe fashion should lift people up, not exploit them.
We don't follow trends. We make classic pieces designed to last years, not just seasons. Quality over quantity, always.
